We create a structured international care channel that reduces the cost of high-cost elective surgery through fixed episode pricing, JCI-accredited hospital partners, and continuity oversight from surgery through recovery.
Our focus: lower total episode cost, institutional-grade governance, and zero network disruption.
Our Team
Vaidehi Shettigar
Founder & Program Architect
Vaidehi brings 5+ years of healthcare operations experience across U.S. and India-based healthcare systems.
She holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from UNC Chapel Hill, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and is completing an MBA in AI. CareUno is built on her direct experience navigating both sides of the U.S. – India health system gap.
Dr. Shruti Gada
Clinical Advisor & Operations Head
Shruti is a practicing physiotherapist and a clinical director with experience across orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and oncological settings in Mumbai's tertiary care network.
Her hands-on background in post-surgical recovery and musculoskeletal rehabilitation directly informs CareUno's continuity and post-procedure oversight protocols.
Our Global Model​
CareUno connects U.S. employer-sponsored plans to a governed network of internationally accredited hospitals in India. Every case is structured under a fixed episode price, coordinated through a defined governance framework, and supported by continuity protocols designed for the documentation and oversight standards U.S. plan administrators require. We are not a travel company. We are a managed care channel.
Current Stage
CareUno has confirmed its inaugural hospital network and is currently engaging select self-funded plan sponsors and benefits consultants for 2026 pilot structuring. We are accepting a limited number of early employer and consulting firm conversations.
